Climate Smart Ports Act Introduced
Climate Smart Ports Act proposed in United States
US Congress has introduced the Climate Smart Ports Act that would make available $1 billion per annum for port decarbonization initiatives.
Grants would be available to ports and port users to purchase and install zero emissions port equipment and technology. If passed, it would would assist with replacing cargo handling equipment, port harbor craft, cargo delivery trucks, and more with zero emissions equipment and technology.
